This brand new club is part of the Viru shopping centre that opened in the spring of 2004 - a shiny, white multi-storey packed with Western retail brands and modern cafes, it's Tallinn's latest idol to consumerism.
RIFF opens into the Viru's forecourt a stone's throw from the old town walls, sitting between the offices and shops of the new town and the tourist centre of the medieval city. It is targeted at the stylish end of the market: the furnishings are understated, cosy and chic, and the walls are decorated with portraits of trendy models and celebrities. Upstairs it doubles as a restaurant and chilled-out bar while downstairs you'll find the real dancing. In summer a large outdoor terrace is open.
