One of Tallinn's oldest and most famous nightclubs, Hollywood sits in the middle of the action on the edge of the Old Town, in a blue-lit neo-classical building that also houses the Soprus cinema. Once you have navigated the long queue and the body searches, you'll find yourself surrounded by a huge, good-natured party crowd mainly comprising teenagers, dressed to the nines and determined to have a good time.

The nightclub inside reflects its grandiose, tacky exterior - a disco with two large dance-floors and an upstairs balcony - as well as back rooms that include a VIP area and a sweeping staircase (a good place to watch and chat) to the loos. Wednesday is ladies' night, when free entrance for girls makes Hollywood the biggest midweek party in town.
